During my internship at Joomi Lim, I undertook a significant role as the main designer for two distinct jewelry collections, overseeing the entire design process from initial sketches to collaborating with contractors to bring the designs to life in intricate detail. This immersive four-month-long project allowed me to delve into the intricacies of jewelry design, ensuring each piece encapsulated the brand's essence.

For the market research, I was analyzing the preferences of harajuku style and lolita style. I found many images of Japanese street wear, and studied the competitors’ offerings to stay abreast of emerging trends.

I did some ideation sketches to brainstorm the overall color and style for Cross My Heart collection. I was experimenting with the placement of crystals with some pearls in addition.

These are the clarified prototypes expanded from the sketches. All of the crystals used are based on actual-size Swarovski crystals but in smaller ratio.
